. LP722 has a Real Time Clock Module fitted and you will not need to set the day or time as this is automatically done for you. In addition this unit now automatically adjusts itself for BST and GMT so you don’t need to change that either. Press “SET” button to display the first OFF time “8:30 AM OFF”, by pressing either of the buttons “+” or “-“ SELECT your first OFF time. Press “SET” button to display the second ON time “12:00 PM ON”, by pressing either of the buttons “+”. (MON through FRI). After setting the third OFF time for Hot water press “SET” button to display MON.
Press SET button and the unit will step through each of the five days. Select the day you wish to change by pressing the YES button and programme your on/off times as shown previously.
(If you do not wish to change any of the weekdays timings continue by pressing SET button until SAT SUN is displayed) You now have to set your Central Heating times for weekends (SAT AND SUN). Press “YES” button to display the second ON time “12:00 PM ON”, by pressing either of the buttons “+” or “-“ SELECT your second ON time. Product Description Programmers allow you to set ‘On’ and ‘Off’ time periods. Some models switch the central heating and domestic hot water on and off at the same time, while others allow the domestic hot water and heating to come on and go off at different times. Set the ‘On’ and ‘Off’ time periods to suit your own lifestyle.
On some programmers you must also set whether you want the heating and hot water to run continuously, run under the chosen ‘On’ and ‘Off’ heating periods, or be permanently off. The time on the programmer must be correct.
Some types have to be adjusted in spring and autumn at the changes between Greenwich Mean Time and British Summer Time. You can temporarily adjust the heating programme, for example by using the features, ‘Advance’ or ‘Boost’. These are explained in the manufacturer’s instructions. The heating will not work if the room thermostat has switched the heating off. And, if you have a hotwater cylinder, the water heating will not work if the cylinder thermostat detects that the hot water has reached the correct temperature.
The top of the range LP722 allows independent programming of each channel every day of the week. Where occupation varies, controlling the heating to suit can give considerable savings in energy costs.
